International Coffee Day was officially launched in 2015 by the International Coffee Organization (ICO). It’s celebrated on 1st October each year, recognising not only the joy coffee brings to millions but also the farmers, roasters and baristas who make it all possible. The day is also a chance to raise awareness of the need for fair trade and sustainable coffee practices around the world.
